Glen "Big Baby" Davis isn't acting like a baby over getting caught with a quarter pound of weed and $92k.
The former NBA star was arrested on drug possession and distribution charges last February. The arrest took place at a Maryland hotel after the owner smelled marijuana coming from his room. The police reported they also found "a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”
However, Davis is saying he's innocent. He took to Instagram to post a now-deleted video defending himself. The video showed Davis sitting on a private jet eating fried chicken next to a suitcase full of cash topped with his 2008 Celtics' NBA Championship ring. Big Baby went on to say in the video:
“Don’t believe all that s— on the internet. I will have my day in court. They just mad because a black man got money, man. Just trying to keep a black man down, man...My s— legal, man. A lot of jump shots. A whole lot of jump shots.”
We don't know what it means either, but we wish Big Baby the best of luck.
