She took a thinly veiled swipe at Today co-host Karl Stefanovic on Monday's show after part of a 'b**chy' Uber conversation about her was revealed in New Idea.And mere hours after calling the TV veteran 'pathetic' live on-air, Georgie Gardner was seen making a beeline for a private plane out of Sydney.The morning show host, 46, cut a casual figure as she hit the tarmac without her co-host to board to jet to a mysterious destination. While surrounded by other people, Georgie didn't appear her bubbly self as she exited a black vehicle with her luggage. Wearing a striped button-up and jeans, the reporter was led towards the plane by uniformed flight crew.She appeared to be accompanied by a camera man holding his equipment, while she toted a laptop bag and carry-on luggage.Daily Mail Australia have reached out for comment from Channel Nine regarding the mystery flight.The Australian journalist was one of many colleagues of Karl and brother Peter that were mentioned in the alleged rant in the leaked Uber conversation. The driver claimed to New Idea that the heated discussion lasted 45-minute, with Karl allegedly complaining about his female co-host and warning Peter that her future on the breakfast program was in doubt unless she 'stepped up'.Karl reportedly discussed his 'problems' with Georgie - who recently joined him as co-host of the Today show - and claimed she 'sits on the fence' and is too neutral. The Uber driver told New Idea: '(Karl) said she didn't have enough opinions and he wanted her to step up. He actually sounded angry and said he was going to start pushing hard and that she needed to do that if she wanted to stay on the show.' He also allegedly took aim at Channel Nine executives, pointing out that ratings for shows like 60 Minutes were down and branding network bosses 'out of touch'. Over the weekend, Peter and Karl offered a pre-emptive apology for the phone conversation in a statement to The Sunday Telegraph.'We are sorry. I was angry with myself at first that I could be so stupid,' said Karl, before adding that Georgie was 'the best thing to happen to the show in years'. And while the publication claimed Channel Nine accepted their apology describing the behaviour between the brothers as schoolboy-like, a source suggested to Woman's Day that Georgie was 'furious' in the lead-up to the exposé. Woman's Day reported on Monday that Georgie, 46, was 'p***ed off' with her Today co-host Karl, and her concerns even resulted in management getting involved.'There were crisis meetings about it last week, with Nine executives in damage control,' a source told the magazine. 'She made it clear when she came back to Today, she wasn't going to put up with Karl's antics,' they continued.The tensions between Karl and Georgie are hardly a secret, and she has previously admitted the pair are not close friends. There was much speculation that the pair didn't see eye-to-eye when Georgie was rumoured to be taking over from Lisa Wilkinson. Previously appeared on Today as the newsreader from 2007 to 2014, Georgie was the Nine Network’s first choice to fill Lisa Wilkinson’s position after the former co-host’s sensational defection to Network Ten last October.During her announcement as Today's newest co-host in November, the pair joked that they 'loathed each other' as Georgie added: 'We've had our bumps... strap yourself in everyone, because anything could happen, but it's going to be great - I hope!'Studio Ten star Jessica Rowe slammed brothers Karl and Peter Stefanovic, over their leaked Uber phone call about Today co-host Georgie Gardner on Monday.
