Pros Impressive electric performance, decent range, quiet operation

Cons Expensive price bump over the base hybrid version, mediocre highway fuel economy

Value for money At $43,999, it’s tough to justify its parsimony on fuel savings alone

What would I change? A lower price tag would be a good starting point. An electric heating system would be nice so I didn’t have to start the gas engine just to warm my tush. And why, oh why, would Hyundai give the Plug-in two trip meters but only one fuel economy readout between them?

How I would spec it? It only comes in one trim, so like it or lump it
